LIVING POPUPS VRLA 18

Living Popups hired me to compose some musical themes for their VR app demo/popup at the VRLA Badge Show in April of 2018.

These themes emanated from multiple iPhones demo-ing the Living Popups VR app at the popup depending on where the user was pointing their phone camera!

Home Blitz

I joined Home Blitz when I was 14 after responding to a flier posted by one Daniel DiMaggio (b. 1985, Princeton, NJ) looking for musicians to flesh out a live band for the songs on the records he was recording in his parents' guesthouse and self-releasing on vinyl. I look back on being in Home Blitz as the most formative experience of my teenage years and early adult-hood and with four nation-spanning (and one short Australian which I was too young and too busy in freshman year of college to participate in) tours, a number of releases and limited Halloween editions on the Tri-State area's finest imprints (Mexican Summer, Richie, Leaf Leaf, Almost Ready, and Parts Unknown to name a few), and a line-up change or three under our belt . I called it quits this year to pursue opportunities in LA.

Daniel DiMaggio, the father of the group, still goes it alone in his home base of Brooklyn, NY and occasionally abroad under the Home Blitz moniker as a one-man-show alternating between classic Unplugged-style and the experimental, truly indescribably weird acapella and tape loops freak folk along the jagged edge of The 60's Watersons lineup collaborating with David Tibet and a little Sutcliffe Jugend.
